UPSC IAS 2022 Prelims Result in 2022 with Name

The commission conducted the exam all over India on 5th June 2022, and the result of the same has been declared within 20 days of the examination. Earlier, UPSC took approximately 40 days to announce the result, but it took almost half this year.

The prelims exam comprises two papers, the first is general studies, and the second is aptitude. The difficulty level of the General Studies (Paper 1) exam was moderate, and CSAT was moderate to hard.

Candidates who qualify the prelims exam should fill up the DAF (detailed application form) to appear in the main examination. The commission has already released the exam schedule for prelims and the main written exam 2022. Aspirants can check it through the UPSC Calendar 2022.

The IAS exam is conducted in two stages – Prelims and Mains Exam. Prelims exam has MCQ type of paper with negative marking and the Main Exam is pen and paper mode, where a candidate has to write detailed answers. The Civil Services main exam is scheduled to be held from 16th September 2022 (5 days).

Candidates who qualify the mains written exam will call for personality test(interview stage). And the final list will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in written test and interview.
