Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)

Before applying, make sure you meet the following criteria:

Age Limit

  • IMA, INA, AFA: 20 to 24 years (born between January 2, 2002, and January 1, 2007).
  • OTA: 20 to 25 years.

Educational Qualification

  • IMA and OTA: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • INA: Engineering degree.
  • AFA: Bachelor’s degree with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level or an Engineering degree.

Marital Status

  • Applicants must be unmarried, except women applying for the Officers’ Training Academy.

Nationality

  • Must be a citizen of India.
  • Nationals of Nepal and Bhutan or individuals of Indian origin from specific countries may also apply.
