UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination 2024 – Personality Test (Interview) Schedule Announced

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the schedule for the Personality Tests (Interviews) for candidates who have successfully cleared the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024, held earlier this year.

Important Dates

1. Interview Start Date: Tuesday, 07th January 2025
2. Interview End Date: Thursday, 17th April 2025
3. Number of Candidates: 2845 candidates have been shortlisted for Personality Tests.

The detailed schedule, including Roll Numbers, Dates, and Session Timings, has been published.

• Forenoon Session: Reporting time is 9:00 AM
• Afternoon Session: Reporting time is 1:00 PM

E-Summon Letters:

The e-Summon Letters for the Personality Tests will be made available shortly on the official UPSC website at https://www.upsc.gov.in. Candidates are advised to download their letters promptly once available.

Important Note:
Requests for changes to the interview date and time will not be entertained under normal circumstances.

DAF-II Submission:

Candidates who have not submitted the Detailed Application Form (DAF-II) by the stipulated deadline will have their candidature canceled. As per the instructions in the Press Note dated 09th December 2024, no e-Summon Letter will be issued to such candidates.

Traveling Allowance Details:

Candidates appearing for the Personality Test are eligible for reimbursement of travel expenses as follows:

• Eligible Class: Second/Sleeper train fare (Mail/Express).
• For journeys by any other mode/class, reimbursement will be governed by S.R.-132 and the Commission’s guidelines.

Submission Requirements for TA Reimbursement:

Candidates must submit the following documents:

1. Printed copies of tickets (both onward and return journeys) showing fare details.
2. Prescribed TA claim form (duly filled in duplicate).
